A week fills with motion — messages, metrics, meetings — and it still feels like the work is thinning.
Drift is what happens when activity outruns honesty about the field. The first move is not a new plan. It is naming what is actually happening: which signals still change a decision, and which are costume. Once the noise has a name, the next right move is usually smaller than the week suggested.
Practice
Write the three facts that would change this week’s decision. Everything else is drift until one of those facts moves.
